Minnesota Citizens for the Arts (MCA) is traveling across the state and wants to meet up with you!

They are stopping in communities across Minnesota to hear from artists, arts organizations, community leaders, businesses, residents, and families about how Legacy Arts Funding has helped the arts flourish. How has this funding helped with the quality of living in your community? How does it impact your downtown? Who benefits when your organization succeeds?

Please join in the conversation with NWMAC Director Mara Hanel hosting MCA Executive Director Sarah Fossen, MN State Arts Board Executive Director Sue Gens, Caroline Taiwo of the McKnight Foundation, and our arts lobbyists . Local legislators (Senator Mark Johnson and Representative Deb Kiel) have been invited to join as well.

The weather looks good, but if that changes then the tour will be canceled and not rescheduled until summer.

All are welcome to the public discussion in the auditorium at 11 AM, Wednesday, January 10 at the Aurora Center for the Arts.
