Trey offers mural painting residencies and many more options.
Trey Everett is a muralist, pen and ink illustrator, and art retreat leader. For nearly 20 years, he has led art residencies, retreats, and workshops designed to help both children and adults experience the flow of creativity to become more compassionate, spontaneous, and less judgmental.
Calligrams, images made using words, influence his work. His indoor and outdoor murals and pen and ink artwork often incorporate evocative and unifying words and phrases to add depth to the canvas.
In 2023, Trey was honored to receive the Peter G. Beeson Rural Arts Award, a national recognition for individuals committed to rural behavioral health care and advocacy through the arts. Additionally, he served as the co-director of the Minnesota Institute of Contemplation and Healing for 13 years and is the illustrator and co-author of Exploring the Depths: Cards for Creative Contemplation.
Trey deeply enjoys engaging at the intersection of creativity and spirituality. You can find more information about his work and projects at treyeverettcreates.com.

Students will help grid out the wall using a chalk line and tape and then each student will help draw out the mural using special pencils.

Students will learn techniques to finish out the mural and make it pop. 3-D techniques, outlining, shading, and shadow work will be taught and students will participate in the finishing touches.
